Questions
Frequently asked questions
Insurance, cost, hours, anxiety, and what to do in an emergency. If your question is not here, call the office.
Do you take my insurance
Yes, we accept most PPO insurances, including Cigna, Aetna, Guardian, MetLife, Delta, and more. Our team will handle all the back and forth with the insurance companies so you do not have to. Bring your card to your first visit and we will check your benefits before treatment is planned.
What if I do not have dental insurance
You are still welcome, and the new patient price of $125 for adults and $90 for children applies either way. For ongoing routine care without insurance, ask about Smile Club, our in house membership, which is a flat monthly payment with no claim forms and no annual maximum.
How much does the first appointment cost
The new patient exam, X-rays, and cleaning is $125 for adults and $90 for children. If we find that you need a deep cleaning rather than a standard one, that is separate treatment and you will be given the cost before anything is booked.
Are you accepting new patients
Yes. Call (918) 205-7458 and we will book you in. That line is for new patients, and existing patients should use (918) 591-3535.
What are your office hours
We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
It has been years since I saw a dentist. Will I get a lecture
No. This is a judgement free office and it is a common situation. We deal with whatever is bothering you first, then set out the rest in an order that works for you.
I am anxious about the dentist. What can you do
Quite a lot. Nitrous gas is available the same day for most appointments, and oral sedation can be arranged in advance for longer visits. There is also a therapy dog, blankets, and iPads. Tell us when you book and we will plan the appointment around it.
Do you see children
Yes, we are a family practice. A child first visit is mostly about getting comfortable in the chair, and it includes fluoride and sealants where they are needed. Families often book back to back so one trip covers everyone.
Do you do clear aligners instead of braces
Yes. We use ClearCorrect for adult orthodontics. They are clear removable trays rather than brackets and wires, and because your own dentist is treating you, your gum health and any untreated decay are dealt with before the teeth are moved.
Do you offer Botox and lip filler
Yes. Dr. Hanna is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and offers Botox for cosmetics, lip filler, and Botox for TMJ muscle and joint pain. It is planned around your smile rather than separately from it.
What should I do in a dental emergency
Call the office as soon as you can. If a tooth has been knocked out, handle it by the crown, keep it in milk, and come straight in, because the first hour matters. If swelling is affecting your breathing or swallowing, go to an emergency room instead.
Where are you and is there parking
We are at 3345 S Harvard Ave., Suite 302, in Midtown Tulsa, between East 31st and East 41st Street. The suite is on the third floor with elevator access, and parking at the building is free.
Still have a question
Call and ask. Someone in the office will answer.
