Serving Midtown Tulsa
Midtown is where this practice actually is. The office sits at 3345 S Harvard Avenue, between East 31st and East 41st, which puts most of Midtown within about ten minutes of the chair.
The area is the older heart of residential Tulsa. The neighbourhoods around Swan Lake, Maple Ridge, and Yorktown were largely built between the 1920s and the 1940s, and the housing stock reflects it: brick bungalows, Tudor revival, and a good deal of original plaster and tile. Utica Square and the Cherry Street stretch of East 15th anchor the shopping and eating, Woodward Park and the Tulsa Rose Garden sit in the middle of it, and the Philbrook Museum occupies the former Phillips villa a few blocks away.
The University of Tulsa campus is just north east of us, and Saint Francis and Hillcrest are both close, so a fair number of our Midtown patients are students, university staff, or medical workers fitting an appointment around a shift. Early morning slots go first with that group, and we hold some back deliberately.

What we see most from Midtown Tulsa
Because Midtown households skew toward long settled owners of older homes and toward professionals near the universities and hospitals, the two things we see most from this postcode are long overdue catch up visits and cosmetic work. Both start the same way, with a full exam and an honest order of priorities.
None of that means we only do one thing for one town. It is simply the pattern, and it is worth saying out loud because it tells you what your neighbours found useful about driving here.
Everything in one office
Diamond Dental is family owned and locally run, not part of a chain. Cleanings and deep cleanings, crowns, fillings, veneers, clear aligners, TMJ treatment, injectables, implants, extractions, and wisdom teeth all happen in this office. For a Midtown Tulsa family that is the difference between solving a problem on the trip you already made and starting a second one on the other side of Tulsa.
Dr. Mariam Hanna earned her DDS at Howard University College of Dentistry and completed a one year general practice residency in sedation and oral surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center. That training is the reason surgical and sedation cases stay here rather than being referred on, including patients on several medications or with conditions that need watching during a procedure.
She is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, which is the training behind the TMJ treatment and injectables offered here.

If the dentist is not somewhere you enjoy going
Two things keep people away, and they are cost and a bad experience somewhere else. We quote treatment before starting it, and nobody here will comment on how long it has been since your last visit.
Nitrous gas is available the same day for most appointments and oral sedation can be arranged in advance. There is also a therapy dog, blankets, and iPads, and you can ask for any of it at check in without giving a reason. The comfort menu page sets out the lot.
New patients from Midtown Tulsa
The new patient visit is $125 for an adult and $90 for a child, covering the exam, digital X-rays, and a cleaning. Gum measurements are taken at that appointment, because that is what tells us whether a standard cleaning is right for you or whether gum disease needs treating first.
We accept most PPO plans, including Cigna, Aetna, Guardian, MetLife, and Delta, and our team handles the back and forth with the insurance company. If you do not have dental insurance, ask about Smile Club, our in house monthly membership. The current offers page lists what is included.
Families from Midtown Tulsa regularly book several appointments back to back so one drive covers everybody. Ask for that when you call and we will arrange it.
Bring your insurance card, a list of any medications you take including over the counter ones, and the name of your previous dentist if you have records worth transferring. If you are in pain or something has broken, say so when you book rather than waiting until you arrive, because that changes how much time we set aside for you.
